Oh man i would've loved so much like…slower animation for attacks? and actually see the swing of those axes and stuff that fast is like you don't feel any impact, is hard to explain. It feels more like chess, will still buy but still…

Seems pretty nice game. Gotta watch the videos and then most likely pick it up. Maybe i'll just go grab few beers and chips and settle down for a long night.

This game is really cool, I just wish the characters had more fleshed out models and animations. I mean come on! The art style is awesome! Do something with it!

Right after one of my favorite youtubers starts playing one of my favorite games to watch, another of my favorite youtubers starts playing! You must be in cahoots! You bastards! Ye seek to seduce me with your fine videos, and dammit, it has worked! YOU HAVE SO THOROUGHLY SEDUCED ME, YOU BASTARD!

(Joking aside, I'm really happy you are playing Battle Brothers! It's such an awesome game, and I love how narrative it is! Speaking of the narrative, I agree with the others that I'm glad you read it aloud. Not only does it make it much easier to follow as the text is quite small, but hearing you get so into it makes it so much more enjoyable! Pausing a video just to keep up with the text always just takes me out of enjoying it fully, know what I mean?)

Mathas, if you hover over the background icon while on the left when hiring people you'll see what bonuses it gives the unit. (ie. Mason gives +5% experience)

Splattercat is playing this too. Watching your game and his side-by-side really shows the variance in this game. His game is really fun to watch, too!

I'll watch an episode or two more. I'm not sure if this is interesting enough for a full series, but it's a curious little game that I'm happy to have another look at. I'm positively captivated by watching NL playing that new metroidvania platformer – Hollow Knight. This scratches a different kind of itch and seems nice enough.

Hey Mathas, I got this game couple of weeks ago and I think you're gonna love it… Unless it kicks you in the sack one time too many. It's simply brutal. On veteran it may be pretty hard to defeat Hoggart with what u have… In fact I think u already lost this campaign, even if u win the battle 😀

However as a word of advice: make sure you ALWAYS have some tools and medicine supplies (NOT the bandages) in your stock. They run out very fast and are usually quite expensive. Obivously food and money as well. When buying supplies and trading wares always try to get them below their worth (it says how much a thing is worth in the pop-up), at least in the beginning. Money are hard to come by:) The bigger the city/castle the higher prices to buy and sell.

I really hope you enjoy this game, it's great. Good luck! 🙂

Mathas, at the left of the name of the characters for hire in the village you will find a small picture. Hover the mouser over the picture and you will see some stats that tell you if the character is a good pick or not for your band…

Yo Mathis Been doing my own LP of this game for some time, if you need help or have questions about anything just message or leave a comment below, always happy to help new players adjust to this great game, on a side not I'd say this game is a cross between X-com and Mount&Blade, combat is a lot more like X-com and is just as hard.
